MESSAGE FROM MVILLE’S SENIOR CLASS PRESIDENT, DYLAN HAYES VOL. VI

The end of the semester is quickly approaching, and that means one thing: graduation. The class of 2018 has only three weeks until we walk down the quad and across the stage to complete and start a new chapter in our lives.

For the past year, it has been an honor to serve as your president. Yes, there have been times that we haven’t always agreed on something, or wanted to fight or argue one another, but what matters most is that we stuck together and continued. From our successful 100 Nights, to Senior Week, and all the other events that we held in-between, we have shown that the class of 2018 is strong and united, and deeply devoted to the issues that we care about. Continuing on this legacy will be vital, and we must always remember that the class of 2018 is an outstanding class with outstanding students.

As the end of the semester and graduation quickly approaches, please make sure that you have RSVP’d to commencement and handed in your Diploma Verification Form. Also remember to donate to the Senior Class Gift. The last day to give towards a brick or any amount that you think is necessary is the Senior Toast, which is Tuesday, May 15 at 7 p.m. Make sure you donate towards the Senior Class Gift, so we can make our participation goal of 25%. Any amount that you can donate will be greatly appreciate, and will help cement the legacy of the class of 2018 for years to come.

In closing, I just wanted to acknowledge what an honor it has been to serve as President of the Senior Class for the 2017-2018 academic year. I look forward to seeing each and every one of you on graduation day, and be able to celebrate our accomplishments together as a class. The next greatest chapter of our lives is about to commence, and I hope that you are ready for the journey of a lifetime. Thank you.
