MESSAGE FROM MANHATTANVILLE STUDENT BODY PRESIDENT, HEATHER KRANNICH VOL. II

“With the end of September upon us, Student Government is in full gear, has a full board, and is full of exciting ideas. We are thrilled for the semester and academic year that lies ahead. During our first full board meeting, the Student Government Association discussed our two major goals for the year: to increase our presence in the community, and to increase our effciency as a governing body.

To ensure that we are present in every area of the college, SGA members are everywhere on campus. We are sitting on a number of Manhattanville committees alongside faculty, staff, and administrators. We are meeting consistently with the President, Vice Presidents, and Deans of Manhattanville’s undergraduate college to voice student concerns and give feedback. We are attending events, co-sponsoring events, and proposing events for the community.

But we can only be effective if we know what students want and need. Our student outreach programs are in the works and scheduled for mid- October, so be on the lookout! In the meantime, we are holding weekly office hours in the Student Government office in the Spellman Lobby, every day of the week, with our door open for you to come and chat with us. Check the door for the exact hours of when we are open.

As always, please feel free to reach out your Student Government representatives in person or via email, at Student.Government@mville.edu. We are excited to work with you and the Manhattanville community!”
