A Recap of Quad Jam 2017

The annual Quad Jam has come and gone again, making it yet another successful event. Even though it was cold and cloudy with some rain, it didn’t stop everyone from having fun. There were many fun activities that were available along with delicious food. You had the chance to ride a mechanical bull, go bungee jumping, get a portrait drawing of yourself, or even get your future read by a psychic. Crowd favorites such as the Ben and Jerry’s ice cream truck was available as well. And, of course, all of this was free—which is always a major plus.

Entertainment was provided throughout Quad Jam with multiple performances by bands, acapella, and dance groups. People could have a seat on one of the many fun floats that were set out in front of the stages and for those lucky winners who found one of the many rubber ducks that were hidden around the College, they could claim their prizes at the “Quackalicious” stand that was in front of Founders.

Battle of the Bands winner, Matthew Relevo, performed and did an amazing job. DJ Whutever also performed during the EDM experience event. This year’s special guest was We The Kings who sang their notorious song, “Check Yes Juliet,” along with some of their other songs. They even recorded the audience for part of their music video for their song, “Say You Like Me.”

To top it all off, there was an after party in the middle of the quad that included free food and more DJ music. It’s safe to say that this was another great Quad Jam, all thanks to CAB, OSA, and various campus clubs for working hard to make all of this possible for yet
another year.
