Manhattanville’s Philosophy Department hosted it’s first Ethics Bowl yesterday, January 30th. The day was filled with philosophical debates between high school students who are way ahead of their time. The schools that participated in the event were The French American School of NY, John S. Burke Catholic High School, Sacred Heart Academy, Thornton-Donovan High School and Wardlaw-Hartridge High School.

One of the matches in the semi-finals was between The French American School and Sacred Heart Academy. The other match was also between The French American School and John S. Burke Catholic High School.

Sacred Heart Academy and John S. Burke Catholic School won the semi-finals and went to compete against one another in the finals. It was a great match, ending with John S. Burke Catholic High School taking the prize. They will compete further in the Nationals in North Carolina.
